Dear Brothers and Sisters in Dhamma,
It is with profound heartfelt sorrow that we have received the news about the demise of our beloved Zen Master Most Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh, Founder, Plum Village, France.
Most Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh was the Patron of IBC and with his passing away, the IBC and entire Buddhist community has lost an exemplary Dhamma Master who worked tirelessly for the uplift of the Buddha Sāsana.
Once again, on behalf of all IBC members and myself, I wish to express our condolences and prayers to all the members of the Plum Village.
May Most Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh attain the supreme bliss of Nibbāna.
Aniccā vata saṅkhārā
Uppāda vaya dhamminō
Uuppajjitvā nirujjhanti
Tesaṃ vūpa samō sukhō
