The Holy Buddha Relics were brought back to India by the IBC delegation led by 20th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche after being displayed for 12 days at Gandan Monastery, Ulanbaataar as part of the Buddha Purnima Celebration in Mongolia. The Holy Buddha relics were received by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister at Hindon airforce station on 27 June 2022. Ms. Amita Prasad Sarabhai, Joint Secretary, Culture, and Shri Abhijit Halder, Director General, IBC among others were also present.
