Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda in Collaboration with International Buddhist Confederation (IBC), New Delhi andLight of Buddha Dhamma Foundation International (LBDFI), USA achieved a momentous milestone by hosting the 10th Anniversary of the Jethian-VeluvanaDhamma Walk on December 13, 2023.

This collaborative effort aimed at revitalizing the Buddha Valley through a 14 km spiritual journey along the sacred Buddha trail in Jethian Village. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 200 monks and 150 nuns, donned in traditional robes, walking in unison to retrace the steps that hold profound significance in Buddhist teachings. Beyond being a symbolic pilgrimage, the walk fostered a sense of community and shared purpose among participants. This endeavour not only honoured the rich Buddhist heritage but also highlighted the importance of collective efforts in preserving and promoting the spiritual essence of the Buddha Valley.
